What is Eigen Sciences?

Eigen Sciences is a cutting-edge research academy that offers ambitious students the chance to receive expert guidance from experienced academics and professionals.

 

What is the program structure?

Eigen Sciences' research program offers four types of programs to choose from:

Pathfinder (Beginners Course): A 2-week program with four classes held exclusively on weekends, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Opportunity (Intermediate Course): A 4-week program with eight classes conducted on weekends, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Curiosity (Advanced Course): An 8-week program with four classes held on weekends, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Perseverance (Super Advanced Course):  6-month program with classes held on weekends, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Upon completion of the program, students can attend conferences or symposiums and publish their work. The mentors will maintain constant communication to support students in completing their publications, and those interested can request letters of recommendation.

What are my payment options for the program?

Students can pay the tuition upfront in a single payment or opt for a monthly installment plan.

What is Eigen Sciences Refund Policy?

Eigen Sciences' refund policy varies depending on the program:

Full refund if the 1st session hasn't taken place yet.

Refund for any unused sessions if 5 or fewer sessions have been attended.

No refund if more than 5 sessions have been attended.

 

Do I need to have an exact project in mind before I apply?

Students do not need to have a specific project in mind when applying, but they should have some areas of interest. Eigen Sciences offers the option to choose a topic of interest, and students will work with their mentor to develop a Research Question and Abstract.

 

Do I need specific coursework and previous experience to apply?

No specific coursework or previous experience is required to apply.

 

What topics can I study with Eigen Sciences?

Eigen Sciences primarily focuses on STEM-oriented research and offers a wide range of topics.

How often will I meet with my mentor?

Students will have two hours of weekly mentorship. Communication with mentors between sessions is encouraged to seek guidance and support.

 

Can I communicate with my mentor in between sessions?

How do I showcase my Eigen Sciences project?

Eigen Sciences provides various opportunities to showcase projects, including science fairs, peer-reviewed journals, writing competitions, and an in-house symposium for online presentations. Abstracts of research will be displayed on the website, while the results will remain confidential until publication. Students are also encouraged to share their research achievements on LinkedIn.

 

What is the Eigen Sciences Symposium of Young Scholars?

The Eigen Sciences Symposium of Young Scholars is a bi-annual academic conference where students can present and share their research with peers, families, and academics.

 

Will my mentor write a recommendation letter for me?

The mentor may write a recommendation letter if requested in advance, based on the student's satisfactory project completion.

 

What is Writing Support?

Students working on research papers will receive complete support from mentors to effectively express their research findings in a scientific manner.

 

Will I find it exceedingly challenging? Can I manage it?

Rest assured, it won't be difficult for you. All the programs are designed in a student-friendly manner.

 

Can I conduct my own research later on?

Absolutely, you will have the opportunity to conduct your own research. We encourage you to discuss any new ideas with your mentor.

 

How does this topic relate to real-life applications?

All of our projects are novel, state-of-the-art research with high demand in the market, connecting directly to real-life applications.

 

Do we need to purchase any software?

No, you won't need to purchase any software as all the software you'll be using is completely free.

 

What is the training process like?

How will I receive support after completing the course?

Your mentor will remain in contact with you until your paper is published. We will collaborate on the publication process and provide guidance throughout.
